Email Prescription requests

Battlefield Surgery now offers the ordering of prescriptions via an email address. Our preference is to free up the phone lines so we would appreciate you emailing your prescription request. This is on a trial basis. Please put name and DOB in subject line and message the following information to the email should you wish to place an order. Full name/Date of Birth/Address/Item name and strength if known. Please also include your phone number in case of query. Separate message per each patient or message will be declined.Email Address is ggc.gp49130prescriptions@nhs.scot. We wish to keep this mailbox for prescription orders ONLY so other requests not related to ordering prescription items will be ignored and deleted. Please note Prescription requests still take 48 hours from us receiving them to be actioned and longer if this is to go to a pharmacy. Orders received after 3pm will be classed as the next days request. A request sent to us at the weekend will be received and actioned on next working day. Thank you.
